Revelation 6:8-10

⁸And I looked, and behold, ^(A)a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill ^(B)with sword and with famine and with pestilence and ^(C)by wild beasts of the earth.

⁹When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under ^(D)the altar ^(E)the souls of those who had been slain ^(F)for the word of God and for ^(G)the witness they had borne. ¹⁰They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, ^(H)holy and true, ^(I)how long ^(J)before you will judge and ^(K)avenge our blood on ^(L)those who dwell on the earth?”

⁹When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under^(D) the altar^(E) the souls of those who had been slain^(F) because of the word of God^(G) and the testimony they had maintained. ¹⁰They called out in a loud voice, “How long,^(H) Sovereign Lord,^(I) holy and true,^(J) until you judge the inhabitants of the earth^(K) and avenge our blood?”^(L)

⁹And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

¹⁰And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
