Revelation 7:15-17

¹⁵For this reason they are [now] before the [very] throne of God and serve Him day and night in His sanctuary (temple); and He Who is sitting upon the throne will protect and spread His tabernacle over and shelter them with His presence.

¹⁶They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun smite them, nor any ^[a]scorching heat.^(A)

¹⁷For the Lamb Who is in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to the springs of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.^(B)

¹⁵Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God^(A)
    and serve him^(B) day and night in his temple;^(C)
and he who sits on the throne^(D)
    will shelter them with his presence.^(E)
¹⁶‘Never again will they hunger;
    never again will they thirst.^(F)
The sun will not beat down on them,’^[a]
    nor any scorching heat.^(G)
¹⁷For the Lamb at the center of the throne
    will be their shepherd;^(H)
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’^[b]^(I)
