Revelation 8 Revised Geneva Translation (RGT)
8 And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels who stood before God. And to them were given seven trumpets.
3 Then another angel came and stood before the altar, having a golden censer. And much incense was given to him; which he would offer, with the prayers of all saints, upon the golden altar which is before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.
5 And the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and cast it into the earth. And there were voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake.
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to blow the trumpets.
7 So, the first angel blew the trumpet. And there was hail and fire, mingled with blood. And they were cast into the earth. And a third of the trees was burnt. And all green grass was burnt.
8 And the second angel blew the trumpet. And (as it were) a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea. And a third of the sea became blood.
9 And a third of the creatures which were in the sea (and had life) died. And a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 Then the third angel blew the trumpet. And there fell a great star from Heaven, burning like a torch. And it fell into a third of the rivers, and into the fountains of waters.
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood. Therefore, a third of the waters became wormwood. And many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 And the fourth angel blew the trumpet. And a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; so that a third of them was darkened. And the day was struck, so that a third of it could not shine; and likewise the night.
13 And I looked, and heard one angel flying through the midst of Heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth because of the sounds to come of the trumpet of the three angels who are yet to blow the trumpets!”
