22-23 Behind a facade of “wisdom” they became just fools, fools who would exchange the glory of the eternal God for an imitation image of a mortal man, or of creatures that run or fly or crawl.
24 They gave up God: and therefore God gave them up—to be the playthings of their own foul desires in dishonouring their own bodies.

New International Version
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools(A) 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images(B) made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over(C) in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.(D)
