Romans 10:9-11
New Testament for Everyone
9 because if you profess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 Why? Because covenant membership comes by believing with the heart, and salvation comes by professing with the mouth. 11 The Bible says, you see, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

9 If you declare(A) with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”(B) and believe(C) in your heart that God raised him from the dead,(D) you will be saved.(E) 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[a](F)
