Romans 11:17-19
Modern English Version
17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them and became a partaker with them of the root and richness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. If you boast, remember you do not sustain the root, but the root sustains you. 19 You will say then, “The branches were broken off, so that I might be grafted in.”

Romans 11:17-19
New International Version
17 If some of the branches have been broken off,(A) and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others(B) and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.(C) 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”
