Romans 13:12-14

12 the night is far gone; the day is near. Let us then throw off[a] the works of darkness and put on the armor of light;(A) 13 let us walk decently as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in illicit sex and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy.(B) 14 Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.(C)

12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.(A) So let us put aside the deeds of darkness(B) and put on the armor(C) of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness,(D) not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.(E) 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ,(F) and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.[a](G)
