18 For I will not dare to speak of any [a]things save those which Christ wrought through me, for the obedience of the [b]Gentiles, by word and deed, 19 in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of [c]the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have [d]fully preached the [e]gospel of Christ; 20 yea, [f]making it my aim so to [g]preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build upon another man’s foundation;

18 I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles(A) to obey God(B) by what I have said and done— 19 by the power of signs and wonders,(C) through the power of the Spirit of God.(D) So from Jerusalem(E) all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.(F) 20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel(G) where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.(H)
