18 For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished through me(A) to make the Gentiles obedient by word and deed, 19 by the power of miraculous signs and wonders,(B) and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the good news about the Messiah from Jerusalem(C) all the way around to Illyricum.[a](D) 20 My aim is to evangelize where Christ has not been named,(E) so that I will not build on someone else’s foundation,(F)

18 I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles(A) to obey God(B) by what I have said and done— 19 by the power of signs and wonders,(C) through the power of the Spirit of God.(D) So from Jerusalem(E) all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.(F) 20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel(G) where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.(H)
