Romans 15:3-5

3 For Christ also pleased not himself; but, as it is written, [a]The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through [b]patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope. 5 Now the God of [c]patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:

New International Version
3 For even Christ did not please himself(A) but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”[a](B) 4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us,(C) so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind(D) toward each other that Christ Jesus had,
