7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also [a]received us to the glory of God.
8 [b]Now I say, that Jesus Christ was a minister of the [c]circumcision, for the [d]truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.
9 [e]And let the Gentiles praise God, for his mercy, as it is written, (A)For this cause I will [f]confess thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy Name.

- Romans 15:7 He did not disdain us, but received us of his own accord, to make us partakers of God’s glory.
- Romans 15:8 An applying of the example of Christ to the Jews, whom he vouchsafed this honor for the promises which he made unto their fathers, although they were never so unworthy, that he executed the office of a minister amongst them with marvelous patience. Therefore much less ought the Gentiles despise them for certain faults, whom the Son of God so much esteemed.
- Romans 15:8 Of the circumcised Jews, for as long as he lived, he never went out of their quarters.

7 Accept one another,(A) then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. 8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews[a](B) on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises(C) made to the patriarchs might be confirmed 9 and, moreover, that the Gentiles(D) might glorify God(E) for his mercy. As it is written:
