Romans 4:17-19

¹⁷(as it is written: “I have made you ^(A)a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, that is, God, ^(B)who gives life to the dead and ^(C)calls into being ^(D)things that do not exist. ¹⁸In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become ^(E)a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, “^(F)So shall your ^[a]descendants be.” ¹⁹Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now ^(G)as good as dead since ^(H)he was about a hundred years old, and ^(I)the deadness of Sarah’s womb;
