2 We have also obtained access through Him(A) by faith[a] into this grace in which we stand,(B) and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that,(C) but we also rejoice in our afflictions,(D) because we know that affliction produces endurance,(E) 4 endurance produces proven character,(F) and proven character produces hope.
