Romans 6:17-19
American Standard Version
17 But thanks be to God, [a]that, whereas ye were [b]servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that [c]form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered; 18 and being made free from sin, ye became [d]servants of righteousness. 19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness unto sanctification.

New International Version
17 But thanks be to God(A) that, though you used to be slaves to sin,(B) you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching(C) that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin(D) and have become slaves to righteousness.(E)
19 I am using an example from everyday life(F) because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness(G) leading to holiness.
