Romans 7:17-19
International Children’s Bible
17 But I am not really the one who is doing these bad things. It is sin living in me that does these things. 18 Yes, I know that nothing good lives in me—I mean nothing good lives in the part of me that is earthly and sinful. I want to do the things that are good. But I do not do them. 19 I do not do the good things that I want to do. I do the bad things that I do not want to do.

Romans 7:17-19
New International Version
17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.(A) 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[a](B) For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.(C)
