23 but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin which dwells in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I of myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.

23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war(A) against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin(B) at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?(C) 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!(D)
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law,(E) but in my sinful nature[a] a slave to the law of sin.(F)
