Romans 9:26-28
Living Bible
26 And the heathen, of whom it once was said, “You are not my people,” shall be called “sons of the Living God.”[a]
27 Isaiah the prophet cried out concerning the Jews that though there would be millions[b] of them, only a small number would ever be saved. 28 “For the Lord will execute his sentence upon the earth, quickly ending his dealings, justly cutting them short.”[c]

27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
