Romans 9:29

²⁹And just as Isaiah foretold:

^(D)We would have become like Sodom, and would have ^[c]been like Gomorrah.”

“Unless the Lord Almighty^(A)
had left us descendants,
we would have become like Sodom,

⁹In my ears the Lord of armies has sworn, “^(A)Many houses shall certainly become ^(B)desolate,
Even great and fine ones, without occupants.

⁹The Lord Almighty^(A) has declared in my hearing:^(B)

“Surely the great houses will become desolate,^(C)
the fine mansions left without occupants.
