Romans 9:29-31

29 And as Isaiah said before:
(A)“Unless the Lord of [a]Sabaoth had left us a seed,
(B)We would have become like Sodom,
And we would have been made like Gomorrah.”

30 What shall we say then? (C)That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, (D)even the righteousness of faith; 31 but Israel, (E)pursuing the law of righteousness, (F)has not attained to the law [b]of righteousness.

New International Version
29 It is just as Isaiah said previously:
“Unless the Lord Almighty(A)
had left us descendants,
we would have become like Sodom,
we would have been like Gomorrah.”[a](B)

30 What then shall we say?(C) That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;(D) 31 but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness,(E) have not attained their goal.(F)
