Romans 9:5-7

5 to them belong the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, comes the Messiah,[a] who is over all, God blessed for ever.[b] Amen.
6 It is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all Israelites truly belong to Israel, 7 and not all of Abraham’s children are his true descendants; but ‘It is through Isaac that descendants shall be named after you.’

Romans 9:5-7
New International Version
5 Theirs are the patriarchs,(A) and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah,(B) who is God over all,(C) forever praised![a](D) Amen.
God’s Sovereign Choice
6 It is not as though God’s word(E) had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.(F) 7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”[b](G)
