¹⁰ always asking in my prayers that if it is somehow in God’s will, I may now at last succeed in coming to you.^(A)

¹⁹ But I will come to you soon,^(A) if the Lord wills, and I will know not the talk but the power of those who are inflated with pride.

⁷ I don’t want to see you now just in passing, for I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord allows.^(A)

³ And we will do this if God permits.

¹⁵ Instead, you should say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”

¹⁷ For it is better to suffer^(A) for doing good, if that should be God’s will,^[a] than for doing evil.
