¹² The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near,^(A) so let us discard the deeds of darkness^(B) and put on the armor of light.^(C)

³¹ and those who use the world as though they did not make full use of it. For this world in its current form is passing away.^(A)

¹⁷ And the world with its lust is passing away,^(A) but the one who does God’s will^(B) remains forever.^(C)
