Abraham Justified before Circumcision

⁹ Is this blessing only for the circumcised,^(A) then? Or is it also for the uncircumcised? For we say, Faith was credited to Abraham for righteousness.^(B)[a]

²² Therefore, it was credited to him for righteousness.^(A)[a]

⁶ Just as Abraham believed God,^(A) and it was credited to him for righteousness,^(B)[a]

²³ So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness,^(A)[a] and he was called God’s friend.^(B)
