⁶ For we know that our old self^[a](A) was crucified with Him^(B) in order that sin’s dominion over the body^[b] may be abolished,^(C) so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin,

² because the Spirit’s law of life^(A) in Christ Jesus has set you^[a] free from the law of sin and of death.^(B)
