⁹ knowing that ^(A)Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

⁸ “And to the ^[a]angel of the church in Smyrna write,

‘These things says ^(A)the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life:

⁶ and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, ^(A)who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, ^(B)that there should be delay no longer,

^7 (A)Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God ^(B)who lives forever and ever.
