13 So Boaz took Ruth to be his wife, and when he had marital relations with her, the Lord made her conceive, and she bore a son. 14 Then the women of Bethlehem[a] told Naomi, “May the Lord be blessed,[b] who has not left you today without a related redeemer. May his name become famous throughout Israel!

Naomi Gains a Son
13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive,(C) and she gave birth to a son.(D) 14 The women(E) said to Naomi: “Praise be to the Lord,(F) who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer.(G) May he become famous throughout Israel!
