12 May your house be like the house of (A)Perez, (B)whom Tamar bore to Judah, because of (C)the offspring which the Lord will give you from this young woman.”

13 So Boaz (E)took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, (F)the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son. 14 Then (G)the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a [a]close relative; and may his name be famous in Israel!

Naomi Gains a Son
13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive,(C) and she gave birth to a son.(D) 14 The women(E) said to Naomi: “Praise be to the Lord,(F) who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer.(G) May he become famous throughout Israel!
