2 Hashem is my oz and zimrah (song of praise), and He is become to me Yeshuah (salvation); He is Eli (my G-d), and I will praise Him; Elohei Avi, and I will exalt Him.
3 Hashem is an Ish Milchamah; Hashem shmo.
4 Markevot Pharaoh and his army hath He cast into the yam; his select commanders also are drowned in Yam Suf.

2 “The Lord is my strength(A) and my defense[a];
he has become my salvation.(B)
He is my God,(C) and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt(D) him.
3 The Lord is a warrior;(E)
the Lord is his name.(F)
4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his army(G)
he has hurled into the sea.
The best of Pharaoh’s officers
are drowned in the Red Sea.[b]
