³And Natan said to HaMelech, Go, do all that is in thine lev; for Hashem is with thee.

⁴And it came to pass that lailah, that the Devar Hashem came unto Natan, saying,

⁵Go and tell Avdi Dovid, Thus saith Hashem, Shalt thou build Me a Bais for Me to dwell in?

³Nathan replied to the king, “Whatever you have in mind,^(A) go ahead and do it, for the Lord is with you.”

⁴But that night the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying:

⁵“Go and tell my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord says: Are you^(B) the one to build me a house to dwell in?^(C)
