Titus 1:11-13
New American Bible (Revised Edition)
11 It is imperative to silence them, as they are upsetting whole families by teaching for sordid gain what they should not. 12 One of them, a prophet of their own, once said, “Cretans have always been liars, vicious beasts, and lazy gluttons.”[a] 13 That testimony is true. Therefore, admonish them sharply, so that they may be sound in the faith,(A)

Titus 1:11-13
New International Version
11 They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households(A) by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain. 12 One of Crete’s own prophets(B) has said it: “Cretans(C) are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.”[a] 13 This saying is true. Therefore rebuke(D) them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith(E)
