⁶ An elder^(A) must be blameless,^(B) the husband of one wife, with faithful^[a] children who are not accused of wildness or rebellion.

¹⁰ For there are many rebellious people, full of empty talk and deception, especially those from the circumcision party.

For in subjecting everything to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. As it is, we do not yet see everything subjected to him.^(A)
