13 looking forward to that wonderful time we’ve been expecting, when his glory shall be seen—the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. 14 He died under God’s judgment against our sins so that he could rescue us from constant falling into sin and make us his very own people, with cleansed hearts and real enthusiasm for doing kind things for others. 15 You must teach these things and encourage your people to do them, correcting them when necessary as one who has every right to do so. Don’t let anyone think that what you say is not important.

13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing(A) of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,(B) 14 who gave himself for us(C) to redeem us from all wickedness(D) and to purify(E) for himself a people that are his very own,(F) eager to do what is good.(G)

15 These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.
