For the (A)teraphim speak [a]iniquity,
And the (B)diviners see [b]lying visions
And tell (C)false dreams;
They comfort in vain.
Therefore the people [c]wander like (D)sheep,
They are afflicted, because there is no shepherd.
“My (E)anger is kindled against the shepherds,
And I will punish the [d]male goats;
For the Lord of hosts has (F)visited His flock, the house of Judah,
And will make them like His majestic horse in battle.
“From [e]them will come the (G)cornerstone,
From [f]them the tent peg,
From [g]them the bow of (H)battle,
From [h]them every [i]ruler, all of them together.
