6 When you ate and drank, didn’t you do it to benefit yourselves? 7 Aren’t these the same words that Yahweh announced through the earlier prophets, when Jerusalem and its surrounding cities were inhabited and undisturbed and the Negev and the foothills were still inhabited?’”
8 Then Yahweh spoke his word to Zechariah. He said,

6 And when you were eating and drinking, were you not just feasting for yourselves?(A) 7 Are these not the words the Lord proclaimed through the earlier prophets(B) when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were at rest(C) and prosperous, and the Negev and the western foothills(D) were settled?’”(E)
8 And the word of the Lord came again to Zechariah:
