Zechariah 9:12-14
Living Bible

12 Come to the place of safety, all you prisoners, for there is yet hope! I promise right now, I will repay you two mercies for each of your woes! 13 Judah, you are my bow! Ephraim, you are my arrow! Both of you will be my sword, like the sword of a mighty soldier brandished against the sons of Greece.”

14 The Lord shall lead his people as they fight! His arrows shall fly like lightning; the Lord God shall sound the trumpet call and go out against his enemies like a whirlwind off the desert from the south.

12 Return to your fortress,(A) you prisoners of hope;
    even now I announce that I will restore twice(B) as much to you.
13 I will bend Judah as I bend my bow(C)
    and fill it with Ephraim.(D)
I will rouse your sons, Zion,
    against your sons, Greece,(E)
    and make you like a warrior’s sword.(F)

The Lord Will Appear

14 Then the Lord will appear over them;(G)
    his arrow will flash like lightning.(H)
The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet;(I)
    he will march in the storms(J) of the south,
