Zephaniah 2:9-11
Living Bible

9 Therefore as I live,” says the Lord Almighty, God of Israel, “Moab and Ammon will be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah and become a place of stinging nettles, salt pits, and eternal desolation; those of my people who are left will plunder and possess them.”

10 They will receive the wages of their pride, for they have scoffed at the people of the Lord Almighty. 11 The Lord will do terrible things to them. He will starve out all those gods of foreign powers, and everyone shall worship him, each in his own land throughout the world.

Zephaniah 2:9-11
New International Version

9 Therefore, as surely as I live,”
    declares the Lord Almighty,
    the God of Israel,
“surely Moab(A) will become like Sodom,(B)
    the Ammonites(C) like Gomorrah—
a place of weeds and salt pits,
    a wasteland forever.
The remnant of my people will plunder(D) them;
    the survivors(E) of my nation will inherit their land.(F)”

10 This is what they will get in return for their pride,(G)
    for insulting(H) and mocking
    the people of the Lord Almighty.(I)
11 The Lord will be awesome(J) to them
    when he destroys all the gods(K) of the earth.(L)
Distant nations will bow down to him,(M)
    all of them in their own lands.
