1 Corinthians 4:18
Print
Now some are puffed up as though I would not come to you.
Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
Now some of you have become arrogant and pretentious, as though I were not coming to see you.
Some of you have become conceited and arrogant and pretentious, counting on my not coming to you.
Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
Now some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Some have become arrogant as if I’m not coming to see you.
When I didn’t come to visit you, some of you became arrogant.
Some of you think I am not coming for a visit, and so you are bragging.
But some have been puffed up, as if I were not coming to you;
Now some were puffed-up as-if I were not coming to you.
As if I would not come to you, so some are puffed up.
Some of you are acting so proud, it seems as though you think I won’t be coming there again.
Some people among you have become proud. They think that I will never come back to warn them.
Some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Some of you have become ·proud [arrogant; puffed up], thinking that I will not come to you again.
Some are puffed up as though I would not come unto you.
Some of you have become arrogant because you think I won’t pay you a visit.
Some of you have become proud because you have thought that I would not be coming to visit you.
Now some are inflated with pride, as though I were not coming to you.
Some of you have become proud, thinking that I will not come to you again.
Some of you have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to evaluate you.
Some of you have apparently grown conceited enough to think that I should not visit you. But please God it will not be long before I do come in person. Then I shall be able to see what power, apart from their words, these pretentious ones among you really possess. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of a spate of word but of the power of Christian living.
Now some are puffed up as though I will never come to you.
Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
Now some have become puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
But some have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.
I know that some of you will have become proud, thinking that I am afraid to come to deal with you.
I know there are some among you who are so full of themselves they never listen to anyone, let alone me. They don’t think I’ll ever show up in person. But I’ll be there sooner than you think, God willing, and then we’ll see if they’re full of anything but hot air. God’s Way is not a matter of mere talk; it’s an empowered life.
Now some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming · to you.
Some of you have become arrogant because you think I won’t pay you a visit.
Some have become inflated with pride, as if I were not coming to you.
Now some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Now some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Some of you have become arrogant, on the assumption that I am not coming to you.
Some of you have become proud, thinking that I will not come to you again.
Some have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.
Some of you have become proud. You act as if I weren’t coming to you.
Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.
Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.
Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
Some of you are full of pride. You think that I am not coming to visit you.
Some of you have become arrogant, thinking I will not visit you again.
Some swell, as though I will not be coming to you any more.
But some of you, thinking that I am not coming to you, have become arrogant.
But some of you, thinking that I am not coming to you, have become arrogant.
But some of you, thinking that I am not coming to you, have become arrogant.
But some of you, thinking that I am not coming to you, have become arrogant.
Some people are getting puffed up, as though I wasn’t going to come to you.
Now as to my coming to you, some were puffed up, [YIRMEYAH 43:2]
Now, some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you.
Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
But the reality is, some of you have put yourselves on pedestals and live like you are high above the rest—it’s as if you assumed I would not return to confront your misguided pride.
Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
Some of you are proud of yourselves. You think I am not coming to visit you.
As though I should not come to you, so some be blown with pride [so some be in-blown with pride];
And as if I were not coming unto you certain were puffed up;
