And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father.
And Solomon did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and went not fully after Jehovah, as did David his father.
Solomon did evil [things] in the sight of the Lord, and did not follow the Lord fully, as his father David had done.

And Solomon did evil in the sight of Jehovah, and followed not fully Jehovah, as David his father.
And Solomon did that which was net pleasing before the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as David his father.
So Solomon did what the Lord said was wrong. He did not follow the Lord completely as his father David did.
As a result, Solomon did things that the Lord said were evil. He did not serve the Lord faithfully as his father David had done.
So Solomon did evil in the eyes of the Lord. He did not devote himself to the Lord as his father David had done.
So Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and did not wholly follow the Lord, as David his father had done.

Thus Solomon did what was clearly wrong and refused to follow the Lord as his father David did.
Solomon openly defied God; he did not follow in his father David’s footsteps. He went on to build a sacred shrine to Chemosh, the horrible god of Moab, and to Molech, the horrible god of the Ammonites, on a hill just east of Jerusalem. He built similar shrines for all his foreign wives, who then polluted the countryside with the smoke and stench of their sacrifices.

and Solomon did that, that pleased not before the Lord, and he full-filled not that he followed the Lord, as David, his father. (and Solomon did what did not please the Lord, and he did not follow fully after the Lord, as his father David did.)
and Solomon doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, and hath not been fully after Jehovah, like David his father.
