1 Corinthians 15:36
Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, unless it die.
Thou foolish one, that which thou thyself sowest is not quickened except it die:
You fool! Every time you plant seed you sow something that does not come to life [germinating, springing up and growing] unless it first dies.
You foolish man! Every time you plant seed, you sow something that does not come to life [germinating, springing up, and growing] unless it dies first.

Look, fool! When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t come back to life unless it dies.
Stupid! When you sow a seed, it doesn’t come alive unless it first dies.
Don't be foolish. A seed must die before it can sprout from the ground.
Fool; what *thou* sowest is not quickened unless it die.
Foolish one! What you sow is not given-life unless it dies.
Senseless man, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die first.
These are stupid questions. When you plant something, it must die in the ground before it can live and grow.
Do not think like a fool! When you plant a seed in the ground, it has to die first. Then it can become alive again and grow into a new plant.
You are being foolish. What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.
You foolish person! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.

Foolish person! When you sow a seed, it must die in the ground before it can ·live and grow [come to life].

Those are stupid questions. When you plant something, it must die in the ground before it can live and grow.

But perhaps someone will ask, “How is the resurrection achieved? With what sort of body do the dead arrive?” Now that is talking without using your minds! In your own experience you know that a seed does not germinate without itself “dying”. When you sow a seed you do not sow the “body” that will eventually be produced, but bare grain, of wheat, for example, or one of the other seeds. God gives the seed a “body” according to his laws—a different “body” to each kind of seed.

Foolish person! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
What a foolish question! You will find the answer in your own garden! When you put a seed into the ground it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it “dies” first.
Some skeptic is sure to ask, “Show me how resurrection works. Give me a diagram; draw me a picture. What does this ‘resurrection body’ look like?” If you look at this question closely, you realize how absurd it is. There are no diagrams for this kind of thing. We do have a parallel experience in gardening. You plant a “dead” seed; soon there is a flourishing plant. There is no visual likeness between seed and plant. You could never guess what a tomato would look like by looking at a tomato seed. What we plant in the soil and what grows out of it don’t look anything alike. The dead body that we bury in the ground and the resurrection body that comes from it will be dramatically different.
