1 John 2:5
Print
But whoso keepeth His Word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.
but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him:
But whoever habitually keeps His word and obeys His precepts [and treasures His message in its entirety], in him the love of God has truly been perfected [it is completed and has reached maturity]. By this we know [for certain] that we are in Him:
But he who keeps (treasures) His Word [who bears in mind His precepts, who observes His message in its entirety], truly in him has the love of and for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity). By this we may perceive (know, recognize, and be sure) that we are in Him:
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
But whoever keeps his word, truly in him the love of God is made complete. This is how we know we are in him:
But the love of God is truly perfected in whoever keeps his word. This is how we know we are in him.
But if someone keeps doing what he says, then truly love for God has been brought to its goal in him. This is how we are sure that we are united with him.
We truly love God only when we obey him as we should, and then we know we belong to him.
but whoever keeps his word, in him verily the love of God is perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him.
But whoever is keeping His word, truly the love of God has been perfected in this one. By this we know that we are in Him:
But he that keepeth his word, in him in very deed the charity of God is perfected; and by this we know that we are in him.
But when we obey God’s teaching, his love is truly working in us. This is how we know that we are living in him.
But anyone who obeys God's message shows that he really loves God completely. So this is how we know that we belong to God.
If anyone keeps God’s word, the love of God is truly made complete in him. This is how we know that we are in him:
but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:
but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:
But if someone ·obeys [keeps] ·God’s teaching [L his word], then in that person ·God’s love [or love for God] has ·truly reached its goal [been fulfilled/perfected/completed]. This is how we can be sure we are ·living in God [L in him]:
But he that keepeth his word, in him is the love of God perfect indeed: hereby we know that we are in him.
But whoever obeys what Christ says is the kind of person in whom God’s love is perfected. That’s how we know we are in Christ.
But if we obey his word, we are the ones whose love for God has really been made perfect. This is how we can be sure that we are in union with God:
But whoever keeps His word, truly in him the love of God is perfected. This is how we know we are in Him:
But if someone obeys God’s teaching, then God’s love has truly arrived at its goal in him. This is how we know that we are following God:
But whoever continually keeps his commandments is the kind of person in whom God’s love has truly been perfected. This is how we can be sure that we are in union with God:
It is only when we obey God’s laws that we can be quite sure that we really know him. The man who claims to know God but does not obey his laws is not only a liar but lives in self-delusion. In practice, the more a man learns to obey God’s laws the more truly and fully does he express his love for him. Obedience is the test of whether we really live “in God” or not. The life of a man who professes to be living in God must bear the stamp of Christ.
But whosoever keeps his word, in him verily is the charity of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
but whoever keeps His word, truly in him the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:
But whoever keeps his word, truly in this person the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in him.
But those who do what Christ tells them to will learn to love God more and more. That is the way to know whether or not you are a Christian.
If someone claims, “I know him well!” but doesn’t keep his commandments, he’s obviously a liar. His life doesn’t match his words. But the one who keeps God’s word is the person in whom we see God’s mature love. This is the only way to be sure we’re in God. Anyone who claims to be intimate with God ought to live the same kind of life Jesus lived.
But whoever keeps His word truly has the love of God perfected in him. By this we know we are in Him.
But whoever keeps his · word, truly in that person is the love of God brought to fulfillment. This is how we can be sure that we are in him:
But whoever obeys what Christ says is the kind of person in whom God’s love is perfected. That’s how we know we are in Christ.
But whoever keeps his word, the love of God is truly perfected in him. This is the way we may know that we are in union with him:
but whoever follows His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:
but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:
However, the love of God is truly perfected in the one who obeys his word. This is how we can be certain that we are in union with him:
But if someone obeys God’s teaching, then in that person God’s love has truly reached its goal. This is how we can be sure we are living in God:
But whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in him.
But if anyone obeys God’s word, then that person truly loves God. Here is how we know we belong to him.
But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:
But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
But whoever obeys His Word has the love of God made perfect in him. This is the way to know if you belong to Christ.
But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him.
Whoever keeps his word, in him is the love of God perfected in deed. And thereby we know that we are in him.
but whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has reached perfection. By this we may be sure that we are in him:
but whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has reached perfection. By this we may be sure that we are in him:
but whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has reached perfection. By this we may be sure that we are in him:
but whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has reached perfection. By this we know that we are in him:
But if anyone keeps his word, God’s love is truly made complete in such a person. This is how we are sure that we are in him:
But whoever over the dvar of Him is shomer, beemes in this one the ahavas Hashem has been made shleimah. By this we have da’as that in Him we are.
But whoever keeps His word, in him is the love of God accomplished. By this we know that we are in Him.
but whoever keeps his word, in him truly love for God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him:
but whoever keeps his word, in him truly love for God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him:
But whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God is truly made perfect. We know that we are in Him by this—
But if someone responds to and obeys His word, then God’s love has truly taken root and filled him. This is how we know we are in an intimate relationship with Him:
But God’s love has most certainly been perfected in whoever keeps his word. This is how we know that we are in him:
But if any man obeys his word, he really loves God. Here is the way that we may be sure that we belong to him.
But the charity of God is perfect verily in him, that keepeth his word [Forsooth who keepeth his word, verily in him is perfect charity]. In this thing we know, that we be in him, if we be perfect in him.
and whoever may keep his word, truly in him the love of God hath been perfected; in this we know that in him we are.
