1 Timothy 5:8
Print
But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.
But if any provideth not for his own, and specially his own household, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
If anyone fails to provide for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he has denied the faith [by disregarding its precepts] and is worse than an unbeliever [who fulfills his obligation in these matters].
If anyone fails to provide for his relatives, and especially for those of his own family, he has disowned the faith [by failing to accompany it with fruits] and is worse than an unbeliever [who performs his obligation in these matters].
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
But if anyone does not provide for his own family, especially for his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if someone doesn’t provide for their own family, and especially for a member of their household, they have denied the faith. They are worse than those who have no faith.
Moreover, anyone who does not provide for his own people, especially for his family, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
People who don't take care of their relatives, and especially their own families, have given up their faith. They are worse than someone who doesn't have faith in the Lord.
But if any one does not provide for his own, and specially for those of [his] house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than the unbeliever.
But if anyone does not provide-for his own relatives, and especially family-members, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if any man have not care of his own, and especially of those of his house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Everyone should take care of all their own people. Most important, they should take care of their own family. If they do not do that, then they do not accept what we believe. They are worse than someone who does not even believe in God.
Every believer must take care of his own family. Certainly, he must do that for the people who live with him in his home. If anyone does not do that, it shows that he has refused God's true message. That person is worse than someone who does not believe in Christ.
But if anyone does not provide for his own family, and especially for his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Whoever does not care for his ·own relatives [L own], especially his own family members, has ·turned against [denied; rejected] the faith and is worse than ·someone who does not believe in God [L an unbeliever].
If there be any that provideth not for his own, and namely for them of his household, he denieth the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
If anyone doesn’t take care of his own relatives, especially his immediate family, he has denied the Christian faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if any do not take care of their relatives, especially the members of their own family, they have denied the faith and are worse than an unbeliever.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, that is his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
A believer should take care of his own relatives, especially his own family. If he does not do that, he has turned against the faith. He is worse than a person who does not believe in God.
If anyone does not take care of his own relatives, especially his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
1. You should make it clear that for a man to refuse to look after his own relations, especially those actually living in his house, is a denial of the faith he professes. He is far worse than a man who makes no profession.
But if any provide not for his own and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if someone does not provide for his own relatives, and especially the members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But anyone who won’t care for his own relatives when they need help, especially those living in his own family, has no right to say he is a Christian. Such a person is worse than the heathen.
Take care of widows who are destitute. If a widow has family members to take care of her, let them learn that religion begins at their own doorstep and that they should pay back with gratitude some of what they have received. This pleases God immensely. You can tell a legitimate widow by the way she has put all her hope in God, praying to him constantly for the needs of others as well as her own. But a widow who exploits people’s emotions and pocketbooks—well, there’s nothing to her. Tell these things to the people so that they will do the right thing in their extended family. Anyone who neglects to care for family members in need repudiates the faith. That’s worse than refusing to believe in the first place.
But if any do not care for their own, and especially for those of their own house, they have denied the faith and are worse than unbelievers.
But if anyone does not care for · his own, · especially his household members, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
If anyone doesn’t take care of his own relatives, especially his immediate family, he has denied the Christian faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
And whoever does not provide for relatives and especially family members has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Whoever does not care for his own relatives, especially his own family members, has turned against the faith and is worse than someone who does not believe in God.
But if someone does not provide for his own, especially his own family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Everyone should provide for their own relatives. Most of all, everyone should take care of their own family. If they don’t, they have left the faith. They are worse than someone who doesn’t believe.
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Anyone who does not take care of his family and those in his house has turned away from the faith. He is worse than a person who has never put his trust in Christ.
But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.
But if there be anyone who does not provide for his own, and particularly for those of his household, the same denies the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
If anyone doesn’t take care of their own relatives, especially their own household, they have denied the faith; they are worse than unbelievers.
But if anyone does not get a parnasah to provide for his own mishpochah and especially his own bais, he has denied the emunah [of Moshiach] and is worse than an Apikoros (skeptic, unbeliever).
If there is anyone who does not look out for his own, and namely for those of his household, he denies the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, especially those in his own house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
And listen, if someone is not providing for his own relatives and especially his own household, then he is denying the faith and is worse off than an unbeliever.
But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
A man must care for his own people. At least he must care for his family. If he does not care for them, he shows that he does not believe in God. He is worse than one who has never believed.
For if any man hath not care of his own, and most(ly) of his household members, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unfaithful man [and is worse than an unfaithful, or heathen, man].
and if any one for his own -- and especially for those of the household -- doth not provide, the faith he hath denied, and than an unbeliever he is worse.
