2 Corinthians 6:1
Print
We then, as workers together with Him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain
Working together with Him, we strongly urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain [by turning away from sound doctrine and His merciful kindness].
Laboring together [as God’s fellow workers] with Him then, we beg of you not to receive the grace of God in vain [that merciful kindness by which God exerts His holy influence on souls and turns them to Christ, keeping and strengthening them—do not receive it to no purpose].
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Working together with him, we also appeal to you, “Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.”
Since we work together with him, we are also begging you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
As God’s fellow-workers we also urge you not to receive his grace and then do nothing with it.
We work together with God, and we beg you to make good use of God's gift of undeserved grace.
But [as] fellow-workmen, we also beseech that ye receive not the grace of God in vain:
And working-with Him, we also are appealing that you not receive the grace of God in vain.
And we helping do exhort you, that you receive not the grace of God in vain.
We are workers together with God. So we beg you: Don’t let the grace that you received from God be for nothing.
So, as we work together with God, we tell you to be careful. Remember that God has been very kind and he has forgiven you. Do not waste that!
As fellow workers we also urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
We are working together [C with fellow believers, or with God, or with Christ], so we ·beg [urge; appeal to; encourage] you: Do not ·let the grace that you received from God be for nothing [L receive God’s grace in vain].
1 He exhorteth them to lead their lives as it becometh Christians, 5 neither to be dismayed in tribulations, 9 nor puffed up with glory: 14 to avoid all uncleanness, 16 considering that they are the temples of the living God. So we therefore as workers together beseech you, that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Since we are God’s coworkers, we urge you not to let God’s kindness  be wasted on you.
In our work together with God, then, we beg you who have received God's grace not to let it be wasted.
Working together with Him, we also appeal to you, “Don’t receive God’s grace in vain.”
We are workers together with God. So we beg you: Do not let the grace that you received from God be for nothing.
Since, then, we are working with God, we plead with you not to accept God’s grace in vain.
As co-operators with God himself we beg, you then, not to fail to use the grace of God. For God’s word is—‘In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you’. Now is the “acceptable time”, and this very day is the “day of salvation”.
¶ We then, as workers together with him, exhort you also that ye have not received the grace of God in vain.
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
And working together with Him, we also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain—
Now because we are fellow workers, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
As God’s partners, we beg you not to toss aside this marvelous message of God’s great kindness.
Companions as we are in this work with you, we beg you, please don’t squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us. God reminds us, I heard your call in the nick of time; The day you needed me, I was there to help. Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don’t put it off; don’t frustrate God’s work by showing up late, throwing a question mark over everything we’re doing. Our work as God’s servants gets validated—or not—in the details. People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times; when we’re beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating; with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love; when we’re telling the truth, and when God’s showing his power; when we’re doing our best setting things right; when we’re praised, and when we’re blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though distrusted; ignored by the world, but recognized by God; terrifically alive, though rumored to be dead; beaten within an inch of our lives, but refusing to die; immersed in tears, yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all.
As workers together with God, we ask you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
Thus as coworkers with him, · we urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
Since we are God’s coworkers, we urge you not to let God’s kindness be wasted on you.
Working together, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—
And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—
As his coworkers, we urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
We are workers together with God, so we beg you: Do not let the grace that you received from God be for nothing.
Now because we are fellow workers, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
We work together with God. So we are asking you not to receive God’s grace and then do nothing with it.
As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
We are working together with God. We ask you from our hearts not to receive God’s loving-favor and then waste it.
As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it.
We as helpers therefore exhort you, do not receive the grace of God in vain.
As we work together with him, we urge you also not to accept the grace of God in vain.
As we work together with him, we urge you also not to accept the grace of God in vain.
As we work together with him, we urge you also not to accept the grace of God in vain.
As we work together with him, we entreat you also not to accept the grace of God in vain.
So, as we work together with God, we appeal to you in particular: when you accept God’s grace, don’t let it go to waste!
As we work together with him, we also urge you not to receive the Chen v’Chesed Hashem in vain. [2C 5:20]
So we, therefore, as workers together, encourage you, that you do not receive the grace of God in vain.
Working together with him, then, we entreat you not to accept the grace of God in vain.
Working together with him, then, we entreat you not to accept the grace of God in vain.
Since we are co-laboring, we also urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
As for those of us working as His emissaries, we beg you not to take the grace of God lightly.
Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain,
We work with God. So we beg you, do not take God's blessing and get nothing from it.
But we helping [you in work and word] admonish [you], that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
And working together also we call upon [you] that ye receive not in vain the grace of God --
