but sought the Lord God of his father and walked in His commandments, and not according to the doings of Israel.
but sought to the God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
but sought the God of his father, and walked in (obeyed) His commandments, and did not act as Israel did.
But sought and yearned with all his desire for the Lord, the God of his father, and walked in His commandments and not after the ways of Israel.
But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
but sought the God of his father and walked by his commands, not according to the practices of Israel.
Instead, he sought the God of his father, and unlike Israel, he followed God’s commandments.
but seeking the God of his father and living by his mitzvot, not by what Isra’el did.
When Jehoshaphat's father had first become king of Judah, he was faithful to the Lord and refused to worship the god Baal as the kings of Israel did. Jehoshaphat followed his father's example and obeyed and worshiped the Lord. And so the Lord blessed Jehoshaphat
but he sought the God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
But in the God of his father, and walk in his commandments, and not according to the sins of Israel.
He looked for the God his ancestors followed. He followed God’s commands and did not live the same way the Israelites lived.
Instead, he served the God that his father had served. He obeyed the Lord's commands. He did not do the wrong things that Israel's people did.
but he sought the God of his father, and he walked in his commandments. He did not follow the example of Israel.
but sought the God of his father and walked in his commandments, and not according to the practices of Israel.

But sought the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandment, and not after the trade of Israel.
Instead, he dedicated his life to his ancestor’s God and lived by God’s commands. Jehoshaphat did not do what Israel was doing.
He served his father's God, obeyed God's commands, and did not act the way the kings of Israel did.
but sought the God of his father and walked by His commands, not according to the practices of Israel.
He asked for help from the God his father had followed. He obeyed God’s commands. He did not live as the people of Israel lived.
Instead, Jehoshaphat sought the God of his ancestors and obeyed his commands, unlike Israel.
but sought the LORD God of his father and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
but sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
but sought the God of his father, walked in His commandments, and did not act as Israel did.
but he sought after the God of his ancestors and walked in his commandments and not according to the works of Israel.
He obeyed the commandments of his father’s God—quite unlike the people across the border in the land of Israel.
Asa’s son Jehoshaphat was the next king; he started out by working on his defense system against Israel. He put troops in all the fortress cities of Judah and deployed garrisons throughout Judah and in the towns of Ephraim that his father Asa had captured. God was on Jehoshaphat’s side because he stuck to the ways of his father Asa’s early years. He didn’t fool around with the popular Baal religion—he was a seeker and follower of the God of his father and was obedient to him; he wasn’t like Israel. And God secured the kingdom under his rule, gave him a firm grip on it. And everyone in Judah showed their appreciation by bringing gifts. Jehoshaphat ended up very rich and much honored. He was single-minded in following God; and he got rid of the local sex-and-religion shrines.
For he sought out the God of his fathers and walked in his commandments, rather than the deeds of Israel.
Instead, he dedicated his life to his ancestor’s Elohim and lived by Elohim’s commands. Jehoshaphat did not do what Israel was doing.
Rather, he sought the God of his father and walked in his commands, and not the practices of Israel.
but sought the God of his father, followed His commandments, and did not act as Israel did.
but sought the God of his father, followed His commandments, and did not act as Israel did.
Rather, he sought the God of his father, observing his commandments, and refused to follow the practices of Israel.
but from the God of his father. He obeyed God’s commands and did not live as the people of Israel lived.
but instead sought the God of his ancestors and obeyed his commands, unlike the Israelites.

but sought the God of his father and walked in his commandments and not according to the ways of Israel.
But sought Hashem Elohei Aviv, and walked in His mitzvot, and not after the ma’asei Yisroel.
but sought the God of his father and walked in his commandments, and not according to the ways of Israel.
but sought the God of his father and walked in his commandments, and not according to the ways of Israel.
but sought the God of his father, and walked in His mitzvot rather than the deeds of Israel.
instead, he looked for the True God of his father as Azariah told Asa to do, followed His commands, and was faithful to God, unlike the Northern Kingdom of Israel.
but sought the God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not in the ways of Israel.
but he hoped in the Lord God of David, his father (but he hoped in the Lord God of his father Asa), and he went in the commandments of God, and not after the sins of Israel.
for to the God of his father he hath sought, and in His commands he hath walked, and not according to the work of Israel.
