And he humbled not himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
And he humbled not himself before Jehovah, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more.
Further, he did not humble himself before the Lord as his father Manasseh [finally] had done, but Amon multiplied his guilt and his sin.
And he did not humble himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father [finally] did; but Amon trespassed and became more and more guilty.
And humbled not himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
But he did not humble himself before the Lord like his father Manasseh humbled himself; instead, Amon increased his guilt.
But unlike his father Manasseh, Amon didn’t submit before the Lord; instead, Amon increased his guilt.
He did not humble himself before Adonai, as M’nasheh his father had done; rather, this Amon kept adding to his guilt.
Manasseh had turned back to the Lord, but Amon refused to do that. Instead, he sinned even more than his father.
And he did not humble himself before Jehovah, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; for he, Amon, multiplied trespass.
And he did not humble himself before the Lord, as Manasses his father had humbled himself, but committed far greater sins.
Amon did not humble himself in front of the Lord like Manasseh his father humbled himself. But Amon sinned more and more.
But he did not make himself humble and turn back to the Lord, as his father Manasseh had done. Instead, Amon became guilty of even more sins.
But he did not humble himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself. Instead, Amon even multiplied the guilt.
And he did not humble himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself, but this Amon incurred guilt more and more.

Amon was not sorry for what he did wrong before the Lord. He was not sorry as his father Manasseh had been. Instead, Amon sinned even more.

But he never humbled himself before the LORD as Manasseh, his father, humbled himself; to the contrary Amon multiplied the guilt.

Moreover, he did not humble himself before Yahweh as his father Manasseh had humbled himself, but Amon multiplied guilt.

But he didn’t change as his father did; instead he sinned more and more.
Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king. He was king for two years in Jerusalem. In God’s opinion he lived an evil life, just like his father Manasseh, but he never did repent to God as Manasseh repented. He just kept at it, going from one thing to another.
He did not humble himself before the Lord as his father humbled himself. But he increased his guilt all the more.

And he reverenced not the face of the Lord, as Manasseh, his father, reverenced (And he did not humble himself before the Lord, like his father Manasseh had humbled himself); and he did much greater trespasses than his father did.
and hath not been humbled before Jehovah, like the humbling of Manasseh his father, for Amon himself hath multiplied guilt.
