“‘I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend Mine arrows upon them.
I will heap evils upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them:
‘I will heap misfortunes on them; I will use My arrows on them.
And I will heap evils upon them; I will spend My arrows upon them.
I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
“I will pile disasters on them; I will use up my arrows against them.
I’ll throw on them disaster after disaster; I’ll destroy them with my arrows:
I will heap disasters on them and use up all my arrows against them.
I'll send disaster after disaster to strike you like arrows.
I will heap mischiefs upon them; Mine arrows will I spend against them.
I will heap evils upon them, and will spend my arrows among them.
“‘I will bring troubles to the Israelites. I will shoot all my arrows at them.
I will cause them to have many kinds of trouble. I will attack them like a soldier who shoots all his arrows.
I will pile up disasters for them. I will use up all my arrows on them.
“‘And I will heap disasters upon them; I will spend my arrows on them;
“‘And I will heap disasters upon them; I will expend my arrows on them;
“I will pile ·troubles [disasters] upon them and shoot my arrows at them.
I will spend plagues upon them: I will bestow mine arrows upon them.
I will bring one disaster after another on them. I will use up all my arrows on them.
“‘I will bring on them endless disasters and use all my arrows against them.
“I will pile disasters on them; I will use up My arrows against them.
“I will pile troubles upon them. I will shoot my arrows at them.
I’ll bury them in misfortunes and bring them to an end with my arrows.
I will heap evils upon them; I will spend my arrows upon them.
I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
‘I will heap calamities on them; I will exhaust My arrows on them.
I will heap disasters upon them; my arrows I will spend on them.
I will heap evils upon them And shoot them down with my arrows.
God saw it and spun around, angered and hurt by his sons and daughters. He said, “From now on I’m looking the other way. Wait and see what happens to them. Oh, they’re a turned-around, upside-down generation! Who knows what they’ll do from one moment to the next? They’ve goaded me with their no-gods, infuriated me with their hot-air gods; I’m going to goad them with a no-people, with a hollow nation incense them. My anger started a fire, a wildfire burning deep down in Sheol, Then shooting up and devouring the Earth and its crops, setting all the mountains, from bottom to top, on fire. I’ll pile catastrophes on them, I’ll shoot my arrows at them: Starvation, blistering heat, killing disease; I’ll send snarling wild animals to attack from the forest and venomous creatures to strike from the dust. Killing in the streets, terror in the houses, Young men and virgins alike struck down, and yes, breast-feeding babies and gray-haired old men.”
I will heap misfortunes on them; I will use My arrows on them.
I will bring one disaster after another on them. I will use up all my arrows on them.
I will heap evils upon them and exhaust all my arrows against them:
‘I will add misfortunes to them; I will use up My arrows on them.
‘I will heap misfortunes on them; I will use My arrows on them.
I will pile disasters upon them, and use up my arrows against them.
“I will pile troubles upon them and shoot my arrows at them.
I will increase their disasters; I will use up my arrows on them.
“I will pile troubles on my people. I will shoot all my arrows at them.
“I will heap calamities on them and spend my arrows against them.
‘I will heap calamities on them and expend my arrows against them.
‘I will heap disasters on them; I will spend My arrows on them.
‘I will send much trouble upon them. I will use My arrows against them.
I will heap disasters upon them and shoot them down with my arrows.
I will heap disasters upon them, spend my arrows against them:

I will heap disasters upon them; I will spend Mine khitzim (arrows) upon them.
“‘And I will heap evils upon them; I will spend my arrows upon them;

I will heap calamities upon them. With My arrows I will finish them.
I’ll pile disasters on them and use all My arrows against them.
“I will heap evils on them. I will spend my arrows on them.
I shall gather evils on them, and I shall [ful]fill mine arrows in them. (I shall gather one evil after another upon them, and I shall send all my arrows against them/and I shall spend all my arrows against them.)
I gather upon them evils, Mine arrows I consume upon them.
