Deuteronomy 21:18
“If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them,
If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, that will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and, though they chasten him, will not hearken unto them;
“If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or of his mother, and when they reprimand and discipline him, he will not listen to them,
If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or his mother and though they chasten him will not listen to them,
¶ If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father or mother and doesn’t listen to them even after they discipline him,
Now if someone has a consistently stubborn and rebellious child, who refuses to listen to their father and mother—even when the parents discipline him, he won’t listen to them—
“If a man has a stubborn, rebellious son who will not obey what his father or mother says, and even after they discipline him he still refuses to pay attention to them;
A father and a mother may have a stubborn and rebellious son who refuses to obey them even after he has been punished.
If a man have an unmanageable and rebellious son, who hearkeneth not unto the voice of his father, nor unto the voice of his mother, and they have chastened him, but he hearkeneth not unto them;
If a man have a stubborn and unruly son, who will not hear the commandments of his father or mother, and being corrected, slighteth obedience:
“A man might have a son who is stubborn and refuses to obey. This son does not obey his father or mother. They punish the son, but he still refuses to listen to them.
Perhaps a man has a son who refuses to obey his parents. They punish him to teach him what is right, but he refuses to listen to them.
If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey the voice of his father and his mother, and they discipline him, but he will not listen to them,
“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them,
“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them,
If someone has a son who is stubborn, who ·turns [rebels] against his father and mother and doesn’t obey them or listen when they ·correct [discipline] him,
¶ If any man have a son that is stubborn and disobedient, which will not hearken unto the voice of his father, nor the voice of his mother, and they have chastened him, and he would not obey them,
Parents might have a stubborn and rebellious son who doesn’t obey them. Even though they punish him, he still won’t listen to them.
“Suppose someone has a son who is stubborn and rebellious, a son who will not obey his parents, even though they punish him.
“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father or mother and doesn’t listen to them even after they discipline him,
A man might have a son who is stubborn. The son turns against his father and mother and doesn’t obey them. He will not listen when they correct him.
“If a man has a stubborn son who does not obey his parents, and although they try to discipline him, he still refuses to pay attention to them,
¶ When anyone has a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother and when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them,
If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not listen to the voice of his father and to the voice of his mother, and they discipline him, and he does not obey them,
“If a man has a stubborn, rebellious son who will not obey his father or mother, even though they punish him,
When a man has a stubborn son, a real rebel who won’t do a thing his mother and father tell him, and even though they discipline him he still won’t obey, his father and mother shall forcibly bring him before the leaders at the city gate and say to the city fathers, “This son of ours is a stubborn rebel; he won’t listen to a thing we say. He’s a glutton and a drunk.”
If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have disciplined him, will not listen to them,
Parents might have a stubborn and rebellious son who doesn’t obey them. Even though they punish him, he still won’t listen to them.
If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not listen to his father or mother, and will not listen to them even though they discipline him,
“If any person has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father or his mother, and when they discipline him, he does not listen to them,
“If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father or his mother, and when they chastise him, he will not even listen to them,
If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not listen to his father or his mother, and will not heed them even when he is disciplined,
If someone has a son who is stubborn, who turns against his father and mother and doesn’t obey them or listen when they correct him,
If a person has a stubborn, rebellious son who pays no attention to his father or mother, and they discipline him to no avail,
Suppose someone has a very stubborn son. He doesn’t obey his father and mother. And he won’t listen to them when they try to correct him.
If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him,
If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him,
“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have chastened him, will not heed them,
“If a man has a strong-willed son who goes against him and does not obey his father or mother and when they punish him he will not even listen to them,
“Suppose a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father or mother, even though they discipline him.
If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father and mother, who does not heed them when they discipline him,
If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father and mother, who does not heed them when they discipline him,
If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father and mother, who does not heed them when they discipline him,
“If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father and mother, who does not heed them when they discipline him,

“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they chastise him, will not give heed to them,
“Suppose a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not listen to the voice of his father or mother. They discipline him, but he does not listen to them.
If anyone has a stubborn and rebellious son who refuses to obey his father and mother, who won’t even listen to them when they discipline him,
If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and though they chasten him, will not listen to them,
If a man beget a son (who is a) rebel, and a froward (boy), that heareth not the behest of his father and mother, and he is chastised, and despiseth to obey to them, (If a man beget a son who is rebellious, and froward, who obeyeth not his father or his mother, and after that he is chastised, he still despiseth to obey them,)
`When a man hath a son apostatizing and rebellious -- he is not hearkening to the voice of his father, and to the voice of his mother, and they have chastised him, and he doth not hearken unto them --
