And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and behold, it was not toward him as before.

Jacob noticed [a change in] the attitude of Laban, and saw that it was not friendly toward him as before.
And Jacob noticed that Laban looked at him less favorably than before.
And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before.
And Jacob saw from Laban’s face that his attitude toward him was not the same as before.
And Jacob saw that Laban no longer liked him as much as he used to.
He also saw that Lavan regarded him differently than before.
Jacob also noticed that Laban was not as friendly as he had been before.
And Jacob saw the countenance of Laban, and behold, it was not toward him as previously.
And perceiving also that Laban's countenance was not towards him as yesterday and the other day,
Then Jacob noticed that Laban was not as friendly as he had been in the past.
And Jacob could see that Laban was not as nice to him as he had been before.
From the look on Laban’s face Jacob realized that his attitude toward him was not what it had been before.
And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him with favor as before.
And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him with favour as before.
Then Jacob ·noticed [saw] that Laban was not as friendly as he had been before.
Also Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, that it was not towards him as in times past:
He also noticed that Laban did not appear as friendly to him as before.
He also saw that Laban was no longer as friendly as he had been earlier.
And Jacob saw from Laban’s face that his attitude toward him was not the same.
Then Jacob noticed that Laban was not as friendly as he had been before.
Jacob also noticed that the way Laban had been looking at him wasn’t as nice as it had been just two days earlier.
And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before.

Then Jacob saw the face of Laban and, behold, it was not like it had been in the past.
Soon Jacob noticed a considerable cooling in Laban’s attitude toward him.
Jacob learned that Laban’s sons were talking behind his back: “Jacob has used our father’s wealth to make himself rich at our father’s expense.” At the same time, Jacob noticed that Laban had changed toward him. He wasn’t treating him the same.
Jacob saw the look of Laban and saw he was not congenial toward him as before.
He also noticed that Laban did not appear as friendly to him as before.
Jacob perceived, too, that Laban’s attitude toward him was not what it had previously been.
And Jacob saw the attitude of Laban, and behold, it was not friendly toward him as it had been before.
Jacob saw the attitude of Laban, and behold, it was not friendly toward him as formerly.
And Jacob saw that Laban’s attitude toward him had changed.
Then Jacob noticed that Laban was not as friendly as he had been before.
When Jacob saw the look on Laban’s face, he could tell his attitude toward him had changed.
Jacob noticed that Laban’s feelings toward him had changed.
And Jacob noticed that Laban’s attitude toward him was not what it had been.
And Jacob noticed that Laban’s attitude towards him was not what it had been.
And Jacob saw the countenance of Laban, and indeed it was not favorable toward him as before.
Jacob saw that Laban did not show him as much favor as he did before.
And Jacob began to notice a change in Laban’s attitude toward him.
And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him as favourably as he did before.
And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him as favourably as he did before.
And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him as favorably as he did before.
And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him as favorably as he did before.
And Ya’akov beheld the countenance of Lavan, and, hinei, it was not toward him as before.

And Jacob also noticed a change in how Laban looked at him and treated him. He seemed colder toward him than before.
Jacob saw the expression on Laban’s face, and, behold, it was not toward him as before.
Also Jacob perceived the face of Laban, that it was not against him as yesterday, and the third day ago, (And Jacob saw that Laban’s face was not favourable toward him, like it was yesterday, and the third day ago,)
and Jacob seeth the face of Laban, and lo, it is not with him as heretofore.
