And afterward came out his brother who had the scarlet thread upon his hand, and his name was called Zerah.
And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zerah.
Afterward his brother who had the scarlet [thread] on his hand was born and was named Zerah (brightness).
And afterward his brother who had the scarlet thread on his hand was born and was named Zerah [scarlet].
And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.
Then his brother, who had the scarlet thread tied to his hand, came out, and was named Zerah.
Afterward, his brother with the red thread on his hand came out, and he was named Zerah.
Then out came his brother, with the scarlet thread on his hand, and he was given the name Zerach [scarlet].
When the brother with the red thread was born, they named him Zerah.
And afterwards came out his brother, round whose hand was the scarlet thread; and they called his name Zerah.
Afterwards his brother came out, on whose hand was the scarlet thread: and she called him Zara.
After this, the other baby was born. This was the baby with the red string on his hand. They named him Zerah.
Then his brother came out, with the red string on his arm. They gave him the name ‘Zerah’.
Afterward his brother who had the scarlet thread on his hand came out, so he was named Zerah.
Afterward his brother came out with the scarlet thread on his hand, and his name was called Zerah.
Afterwards his brother came out with the scarlet thread on his hand, and his name was called Zerah.
After this, the baby with the red string on his hand was born, and they named him Zerah [C shining/brightness, perhaps referring to the red string].
And afterward came out his brother that had the red thread about his hand, and his name was called Zerah.
After that his brother was born with the red yarn on his hand. He was named Zerah [Sunrise].
Then his brother was born with the red thread on his arm, and he was named Zerah.
Then his brother, who had the scarlet thread tied to his hand, came out, and was named Zerah.
After this, the baby with the red string on his hand was born. They named him Zerah.
Afterwards, his brother came out, and around his hand was the scarlet. So they named him Zerah.
And afterward his brother that had the scarlet thread upon his hand came out, and his name was called Zarah.
And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.
And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.
Afterward his brother came out who had the scarlet thread on his hand; and he was named Zerah.
And afterward his brother who had the crimson thread on his hand came out. And his name was called Zerah.
Then, soon afterwards, the baby with the scarlet thread on his wrist was born, and he was named Zerah.
When her time came to give birth, it turned out that there were twins in her womb. As she was giving birth, one put his hand out; the midwife tied a red thread on his hand, saying, “This one came first.” But then he pulled it back and his brother came out. She said, “Oh! A breakout!” So she named him Perez (Breakout). Then his brother came out with the red thread on his hand. They named him Zerah (Bright). * * *
Afterward his brother came out, the one that had the scarlet thread on his hand, and his name was called Zerah.
After that his brother was born with the red yarn on his hand. He was named Zerah [Sunrise].
Afterward his brother, who had the crimson thread on his hand, came out; he was called Zerah.

Afterward his brother came out who had the scarlet thread on his hand. And his name was called Zerah.
After that, his brother came out with the red string around his hand. He was given the name Zerah.
Then the baby with the scarlet string on his wrist was born, and he was named Zerah.
