Hebrews 4:10
Print
For he that has entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His.
For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
For the one who has once entered His rest has also rested from [the weariness and pain of] his [human] labors, just as God rested from [those labors uniquely] His own.
For he who has once entered [God’s] rest also has ceased from [the weariness and pain] of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
For the person who has entered his rest has rested from his own works, just as God did from his.
The one who entered God’s rest also rested from his works, just as God rested from his own.
For the one who has entered God’s rest has also rested from his own works, as God did from his.
On that day God's people will rest from their work, just as God rested from his work.
For he that has entered into his rest, he also has rested from his works, as God did from his own.
For the one having entered into His rest also himself rested from his works, just as God did from His own.
For he that is entered into his rest, the same also hath rested from his works, as God did from his.
God rested after he finished his work. So everyone who enters God’s place of rest will also have rest from their own work just as God did.
When God made the world and everything, he rested after he had finished his work. It is the same for everyone who goes to God's place of rest. They too will rest. They will no longer need to work.
For the one who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God rested from his work.
for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
[L For] Anyone who enters God’s rest ·will rest [or has also rested] from his work as God did.
For he that is entered into his rest, hath also ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Those who entered his place of rest also rest from their work as God did from his.
For those who receive that rest which God promised will rest from their own work, just as God rested from his.
For the person who has entered His rest has rested from his own works, just as God did from His.
For anyone who enters and has God’s rest will rest from his work as God did.
because the one who enters God’s rest has himself rested from his own actions, just as God did from his.
For if Joshua had given them the rest, we should not find God saying, at a much later date, “today”. There still exists, therefore, a full and complete rest for the people of God. And he who experiences his real rest is resting from his own work as fully as God from his.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.
For the one who has entered into his rest has also himself rested from his works, just as God did from his own works.
Christ has already entered there. He is resting from his work, just as God did after the creation.
And so this is still a live promise. It wasn’t canceled at the time of Joshua; otherwise, God wouldn’t keep renewing the appointment for “today.” The promise of “arrival” and “rest” is still there for God’s people. God himself is at rest. And at the end of the journey we’ll surely rest with God. So let’s keep at it and eventually arrive at the place of rest, not drop out through some sort of disobedience.
For whoever enters His rest will also cease from his own works, as God did from His.
For the one who enters · God’s rest has also rested from · his works, as God did from · his. ·
Those who entered his place of rest also rested from their work as God did from his.
And whoever enters into God’s rest, rests from his own works as God did from his.
For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.
For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.
since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his.
Anyone who enters God’s rest will rest from his work as God did.
For the one who enters God’s rest has also rested from his works, just as God did from his own works.
God rested from his work. Those who enjoy God’s rest also rest from their works.
for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
The man who goes into God’s rest, rests from his own work the same as God rested from His work.
For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.
For the person who has entered into his rest does cease from his own works, as God did from his.
for those who enter God’s rest also cease from their labours as God did from his.
for those who enter God’s rest also cease from their labours as God did from his.
for those who enter God’s rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.
for those who enter God’s rest also rest from their labors as God did from his.
Anyone who enters that “rest” will take a rest from their works, as God did from his.
For whoever has entered into the menuchah of Hashem has also rested from [depending on the zchus (merit) of] his ma’asim, just as Hashem rested from his.
For the one who has entered into His rest has also ceased from his own works (as God did from His).
for whoever enters God’s rest also ceases from his labors as God did from his.
for whoever enters God’s rest also ceases from his labors as God did from his.
For the one who has entered God’s rest has also ceased from his own work, just as God did from His.
because those who enter into salvation’s rest lay down their labors in the same way that God entered into a Sabbath rest from His.
For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
The person who goes into God's resting place will rest after doing his work, just as God rested after doing his work.
For he that is entered into his rest, [and he] rested of his works, as also God of his.
for he who did enter into his rest, he also rested from his works, as God from His own.
