Hebrews 11:36

And others endured the trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea moreover, of bonds and imprisonment.
and others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
and others experienced the trial of mocking and scourging [amid torture], and even chains and imprisonment.
Others had to suffer the trial of mocking and scourging and even chains and imprisonment.
And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
Others experienced mockings and scourgings, as well as bonds and imprisonment.
But others experienced public shame by being taunted and whipped; they were even put in chains and in prison.
Others underwent the trials of being mocked and whipped, then chained and imprisoned.
Others were made fun of and beaten with whips, and some were chained in jail.
and others underwent trial of mockings and scourgings, yea, and of bonds and imprisonment.
And others received a trial of mockings and whippings, and furthermore of bonds and prison.
And others had trial of mockeries and stripes, moreover also of bands and prisons.
Some were laughed at and beaten. Others were tied up and put in prison.
Other people who trusted God received insults. Some of them were hit with whips. Enemies of God tied these people up and they put them in prison.
Still others experienced mocking and lashes, in addition to chains and imprisonment.
Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment.
Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment.
Some were ·laughed at [mocked] and ·beaten [flogged; scourged]. Others were put in chains and thrown into prison [Gen. 39:20; Jer. 20:2; 37:15].
And others have been tried by mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover by bonds, and imprisonment.
Some were made fun of and whipped, and some were chained and put in prison.
Some were mocked and whipped, and others were put in chains and taken off to prison.
and others experienced mockings and scourgings, as well as bonds and imprisonment.
Some were laughed at and beaten. Others were tied and put into prison.
Still others endured taunts and floggings, and even chains and imprisonment.
And what other examples shall I give? There is simply not time to continue by telling the stories of Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jeptha; of David, Samuel and the prophets. Through their faith these men conquered kingdoms, ruled in justice and proved the truth of God’s promises. They shut the mouths of lions, they quenched the furious blaze of fire, they escaped from death itself. From being weaklings they became strong men and mighty warriors; they routed whole armies of foreigners. Some returned to their womenfolk from certain death, while others were tortured and refused to be ransomed, because they wanted to deserve a more honourable resurrection in the world to come. Others were exposed to the test of public mockery and flogging, and to the torture of being left bound in prison. They were killed by stoning, by being sawn in two; they were tempted by specious promises of release and then were killed with the sword. Many became refugees with nothing but sheepskins or goatskins to cover them. They lost everything and yet were spurned and ill-treated by a world that was too evil to see their worth. They lived as vagrants in the desert, on the mountains, or in caves or holes in the ground.
and others experienced cruel mockings and scourgings, and added to this, bonds and imprisonment;
And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
and others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
and others experienced mockings and floggings, yes, also chains and imprisonment.
And others experienced mocking and flogging, and in addition bonds and imprisonment.
Some were laughed at and their backs cut open with whips, and others were chained in dungeons.
I could go on and on, but I’ve run out of time. There are so many more—Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, the prophets. . . . Through acts of faith, they toppled kingdoms, made justice work, took the promises for themselves. They were protected from lions, fires, and sword thrusts, turned disadvantage to advantage, won battles, routed alien armies. Women received their loved ones back from the dead. There were those who, under torture, refused to give in and go free, preferring something better: resurrection. Others braved abuse and whips, and, yes, chains and dungeons. We have stories of those who were stoned, sawed in two, murdered in cold blood; stories of vagrants wandering the earth in animal skins, homeless, friendless, powerless—the world didn’t deserve them!—making their way as best they could on the cruel edges of the world.
Still others had trials of mocking and scourging, and even chains and imprisonment.
